Painter Morris Graves spent his last 30 years in Humboldt County. His paintings are famous throughout the world. Less known are his writings—passionate and revelatory of his stance as a war-resister, an environmentalist, a 1950’s gay man. Dell’Arte’s Joan Schirle & Company present a reading from Graves’ letters, including words from the many women who helped him realize his vision.
