Antiques and Goodies

A family-owned business open since 1978, Antiques and Goodies is perhaps best known for its large collection of furniture from here and abroad. These one-of-a-kind items can be packed and shipped almost anywhere. Shoppers will also find a lovingly selected collection of “smalls,” such as dolls, tins and dishes — like the beautiful silver trident fork and oyster plate pictured on these pages. Look for this large store with warm, welcoming service behind the British phone booth on Third Street.

Annex 39 Antiques

Specializing in art deco and mid-century items, Annex 39 flanks the west side of the historic Eureka Theater. Owners curate the inventory from their estate sale business to bring the best vintage items to the store. If your style is more cottage or shabby chic, check out Annex 39’s sister store, Cottage Annex, on the other side of the theater. A percentage of all shop sales go to the ongoing restoration of the Eureka Theater, which opened in 1939.

Shipwreck Shop

Fun, witty and funky, this lively little store in Eureka’s Old Town district prides itself not only on its vibrant collection of vintage clothing, but also its vast array of hand-made accessories and gifts. Shipwreck showcases local artists’ wares, including hair ornaments made with everything from felt to feathers, and crafty earrings and necklaces. Need a “new” pair of cowboy boots or a bowling shirt? How about a set of pink melamine dishes? Clever paper goods perhaps? Shipwreck owners have a sense of style, humor and a flair for mixing old with new.
