Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Filmmaker ML Lincoln’s documentary reveals how Edward Abbey’s anarchistic spirit and riotous novels influenced and helped guide the nascent environmental movement of the 1970s and ‘80s. Through interviews, archival footage and re-enactments, the film captures the outrage of Abbey’s friends who were the original eco-warriors. A short discussion follows the screening. Doors open at 6:30 for a mixer sponsored by the Northcoast Environmental Center and Backcountry. No pre-sale tickets will be available, so arrive early.
