Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

This is the fourth, in a series of monthly bird watching trips led by women birders for women and girls; focused on creating inclusive, collaborative spaces for both novice and experienced female birders. This wheelchair accessible walk led by Samantha Chavez, a wildlife graduate student at HSU studying barn owls, is likely to provide great viewing opportunities of both resident and migratory songbirds and hopefully some of the raptors, shorebirds and water birds that use this park and the surrounding area. Visit www.rras.org for COVID-19 participation guidelines. For reservations and meeting location, contact Janelle at janelle.choj@gmail.com.
