Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Virtual Trinidad Coastal Festival

When: Sat., Sept. 26, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. 2020
www.facebook.com/TrinidadCoastalLandTrust
Originally scheduled as a dispersed, in-person event, the Planning Committee made the decision to switch to virtual in response to community concerns about reducing the spread of Covid-19. Tune into the VIRTUAL festival and learn more about how Trinidad is a Gateway to the California Coastal National Monument. Get a tour of the historic Trinidad Head Lighthouse, get a view of the bay from a live kayak tour, learn about the seabirds and pinnipeds that depend on the off-shore rocks, and find out what fish might be biting when fishing at the pier. The Virtual Trinidad Coastal Festival can be viewed safely from your home on the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust's facebook page and a recording will be available after the event on the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust website (https://www.trinidadcoastallandtrust.org/). A full schedule of virtuals activities is now available on the website (https://www.trinidadcoastallandtrust.org/news-and-events.html) On the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust's Facebook page www.facebook.com/TrinidadCoastalLandTrust.
