Please join the Kunle Community and Humboldt WILPF (Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom) for the UN International Day of Peace commemoration, live streaming on September 21, 2020, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Facebook and You Tube, c/o Kunle Community. Dr. Roy King will deliver a keynote speech; poetry will be read by Galeladi Runningbrook, Steve Cavin, Kate Hitt, Lori Cole, Greg Downing, Steven Bridenbaugh and Rachel Jacobs, with music by The Raging Grannies, Benjamin Mertz, Steve Cavin, Valetta Molofsky, Angel Fargas, Galeladi Runningbrook, Humboldt County Spiritual Singers, Adrianne Werren and Marla Joy. This event is held in solidarity with Campaign Nonviolence, which is offering 3,500 similar events throughout the world. Kunle Community is a local peer run mental wellness organization.
