Based on the songs of singer/songwriter Ian Williams, The Thoughts depart from traditional sonic territory with the multi-instrumental arrangements of producer Katie Mosehauer, who adds violin, harp, harmonium, and piano to the music, complementing the nuanced and poetic lyrics with her arsenal of classical instruments.
