Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, September 14, for the Streamflow Enhancement Hike. The hike will be led by SFI Water Program Director Tasha McKee, MSG restorationist Campbell Thompson, BLM geologist Sam Flanagan, and USFWS hydrologist Conor Shea. We’ll visit a project in McKee Creek designed to increase streamflows and improve fish habitat, and a site upstream where Sanctuary Forest is working on implementing beaver dam analogue structures. Meet at the Sanctuary Forest office in Whitethorn at 10am, we’ll carpool from there. The hike will end at 3pm. Bring a lunch and plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes.
