Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Spring Plants in the King Range

Phone: 707-986-1087

Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, May 25th for the Spring Plants in the King Range Hike. This easy to moderate hike is an opportunity for participants to learn more about our native plants and how to identify them! Come take a walk with native plant enthusiast Cheryl Lisin of the Lost Coast Interpretive Association and explore riparian and forest habitats at the Nadelos Campground in the King Range. Bring a snack and drinking water and dress in layers as it can be cold along the creek. Waterproof footwear is a plus. Meet at Sanctuary Forest at 10am to carpool.
