Poet Laureate Presentation

California's current Poet Laureate Dana Gioia will read poetry and lecture on poetry. Gioia is also the former chair of the National Endowment for the Arts and the author of such collections as Pity the Beautiful and The Gods of Winter. Joined by James McCubbrey of Eureka High School, Poetry Out Loud Champion for Humboldt County.
