North Group Sierra Club

The North Group Sierra Club invites the public to a 4.5 mile hike on Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park's Ossagon Trail to Carruthers Cove. Carpools meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Ray's Valley West shopping center in Arcata. Come and hike this medium difficulty trail from south to north, a little over two miles of beach walking. We will drop off a car at the Carruthers end and the tide table shows an ebbing tide conducive to this late-winter coastal adventure. Bring water, lunch, and hiking footwear. No dogs.
