COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
A safe* May Day demonstration by community groups concerned about the current response to COVID-19 and recovery on May 1st at 5pm at Bayshore Mall; followed by a lively caravan of vehicles through the community, displaying messages and art regarding:
a.) supporting the workers bill of rights**; Create safety net for all workers especially immigrants: #safetynetforall
b.) rent relief now in face of so many unemployed; #cancelrent
c.) no corporate bailouts, relief for counties and cities, #savethepostoffice
d.) in recognition of all of the may day actions happening around the country supporting workers rights to organize
*attendees must agree to strictly follow the organizers' instructions and:
1.) wear face mask at all times
2.) do not congregate in groups; practice spacious solidarity
3.) go to designated protest spots upon instruction
4.) stay at designated protest spot until protest is complete
