Lichens and bryophytes occur in almost every terrestrial habitat, yet they are often misunderstood or overlooked altogether. This lecture will explore what lichens and bryophytes are, where they occur both locally and globally, and why they are ecologically important. Learning about these fascinating and intricate organisms will open your eyes to a magical miniature world. Please arrive early for a good seat.
