Leader-in-Training Program

(Ages 13-17) The City of Arcata Recreation Division offers a Summer Recreation Program for teens. Teens, ages 13-17, become a Leader-In-Training (L.I.T.) and gain real life work experience and leadership skills, all while having fun in the sun. L.I.T.s work with 5-12 year-old campers, helping to plan and lead summer camp activities. Leader-in-Training Program experience can also count towards community service and looks great on a college application.
