Latin Peppers at the Farmers Market

The always popular Latin Peppers bring their upbeat salsa, dance rhythms and Latin jazz to the Arcata plaza for the farmers market on Saturday, June 29. The band includes Orlando Morales on timbales, Tim Randles on piano, Andy Barnett, on trumpet, Cyrus Wong-Weissman on bass, and Jon Lewis on congas. It is led by Jimmy Durchslag on trombone who also does all the arrangements. The music honors the compelling rhythms of Cuba, showcasing tight ensemble playing and soulful improvisation.
