Max and Jessica are members of the Arcata based folk band Green & Lilac. Their sound includes harmonized vocals, ukelele and guitar. They have been described as neo-americana, indie/folk pop. Their main influences include, Cutie and the Glowfish, Senora Flora Jones, The Maple Creek Folk Band, Squirrel Nut Zippers, the guy that did Mambo Number 5, Fight Club, and Forrest Gump. Max and Jessica started playing together in January 2012 with Green & Lilac and this is their debut performance as a duo.
