“The Potential for Local Offshore Wind Energy Development.” Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group (HBHWG) welcomes, Matthew Marshall, Executive Director of the Redwood Coast Energy Authority. Well-established in Europe, offshore wind energy is finally starting to move forward in the U.S. With the best offshore wind resource in the County, the North Coast is garnering state and national attention as the potential area for the first offshore wind project on the west coast.
