HSU Jazz Combos and AM Jazz Band

The HSU Department of Music presents this semester's Jazz Combos, under the leadership of Dan Aldag, sharing this evening long concert with the AM Jazz Band, led by Howie Kaufman, on Thursday, December 12th at 8:00 p.m. in Fulkerson Recital Hall. This is a great chance to hear intimate renditions of charts that range from standards like "Autumn Leaves" and “My Favorite Things” to original student compositions, as well as big band arrangements of blues tunes, New Orleans parade band music, and Weather Report's famous 70's chart "Birdland."
