Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Join Amy Fowler, local hat maker and owner of Humboldt Haberdashery, as she teaches how to create your own unique fascinator hat using a variety of materials. Ages 8 and up. All materials provided. By layering scraps of fabrics, ribbons, and other trims, we will spruce up a basic hat form into a wearable piece of art. We will explore techniques of making flowers from different materials, and experiment with millinery materials such as sinamay, crinoline and birdcage netting.
