Garden of Eatin' Community Garden Open House

The Garden of Eatin’ Community Garden in collaboration with the North Coast Community Garden Collaborative (NCCGC) will host an open house and BBQ. The event will be family-friendly with opportunities to meet friends and neighbors, celebrate the unveiling of a new community kiosk/information board, learn from a dry canning demonstration led by Master Food Preservers and receive in-person assistance with applying for and sustaining CalFresh (formerly food stamps). The event is sponsored by the NCCGC’s “Food Grows Community” project, funded through Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services’ CalFresh Outreach project.
