Audrey II (Twoey) from in the 1960 Movie, Little Shop of Horrors (in which it was called Audrey Jr.), is a cross between a Venus fly-trap and a Butterwort. Twoey showed up on the arm of Curtis Harder, of Fortuna, who was accompanied by Alex Childers, of Arcata, costumed as Haruhi Fujioka, the main character of the Ouran High School Host Club series.

Luke Skywalker of Star Wars (Rhett Dingess, of Willow Creek) on the left and "Dr. Rockso," a character from Metalocalypse (Chas Kreuter, of Eureka) showed off their costumes prior to the costume contest.

Make-up artist Paige LeNey, of Modesto, began the second of her two Saturday demonstrations with Skyla Kellison, of Turlock. The goal – "Valak" from "The Nun" (a 2018 American gothic supernatural horror film).

Jennifer Huck (as the "Joker") and David Huck (as Two-Face, an adversary of the superhero Batman) paused in their search among the vendor tables.
