The North Coast Chapter, California Native Plant Society (CNPS) will be holding, by
appointment only, its spring plant sale at their volunteer run nursery on Saturday April
30 th and Sunday, May 1 st . The CNPS nursery is located at Freshwater Farms Reserve
(5851 Myrtle Ave., Eureka), a Northcoast Regional Land Trust property. All attendees
must pre-sign up to attend.

including a link to sign up for a time to come to their nursery to purchase plants as well
as a list of all plants offered for sale with links to information about each plant variety.
Their spring plant sale is the only time that they have a large selection of native annuals
available for purchase.
In addition to the plants that CNPS has grown and will provide, local native plant
growers (Samara Restoration, Beresford’s Bulbs and Lost Foods) will be providing
additional plant varieties. The plants that the participating nurseries provide are also
included on the website plant list.
Due to limited on-site conductivity, checks or cash are the preferred method of payment.
Credit cards will be accepted.
Please bring your own box to transport your plants home.
In addition, visit our Spring Wildflower Show at the Jefferson Community Center, 1000 B
St., Eureka on Friday April 29 from 2-5 p.m., Saturday April 30 th and Sunday May 1 st
from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to see hundreds of fresh, labeled flowers with botanists on hand
to Id your mystery wild plant as well as information on invasive plants, native plant
garden information and to tour native plant gardens on site. For additional information
