Centerville Christmas Bird Count

Join Redwood Region Audubon Society (RRAS) for the 118th Annual North American Christmas Bird Count. Locally, RRAS sponsors five Christmas bird counts within an hour and a half’s drive of Humboldt Bay, and we always need birders to help with the count. To participate, please contact the count “compiler” for the area where you’d like to spend the day birding (see below). The compiler will match you with others based on your birding identification skills, or you can team up with friends who are birders. Another way is to tally the birds that visit your feeders during the day and send your results to the contact person for that area. Beginners are welcome!
