Beginning Birdwatching & Project Feeder Watch

The garden, located just north of the school, is an ideal place for birdwatching on the edge of a pasture next to willow thickets not far from a freshwater pond, Humboldt Bay and forested hills. Many species of birds pass by and visit the feeders and garden plants. It is especially suited for beginning birdwatchers. Drop-in anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It’s free and everyone is welcome to come watch and learn about birds in an informal, family-friendly setting. Bring binoculars or we will have a few pairs for folks to use. Visit https://feederwatch.org/about/project-overview/
