Backpacking the Lost Coast

Looking for a bit of a challenge, but aren’t ready to traverse steep moun­tains? Oct. 4-6. This introductory backpacking course takes you on a section of the famous Lost Coast trail in the California King Range Conservation Area. This breathtaking trail is moderately level, the soft sand and traverse rocks make it an ideal adventure for any backpacker. The program fee includes transportation to and from trailhead, all necessary backpacking and cooking gear, experienced guides with back-country medical training, and food. Register by 10/1.
