Humboldt is packed with artists —splash some paint and you'll hit one, in fact. And you don't have to be a hardcore collector to take a little piece of our art scene home with you to enjoy.

Arcata Artisans

A broad sampling of work by Humboldt artists fills this fine art and craft cooperative gallery and gift shop run by and for creators. You’ll find work by more than 30 locals, including representational and abstract paintings, prints, jewelry, photographs, ceramics, weaving, sculpture for home and garden and greeting cards. In fact, one of those artists will be behind the counter, since they all take shifts minding the shop. Pop in for artist receptions every second Saturday during Arts! Arcata.
