Addicts Among Us Documentary
KEET-TV’s new production, “Addicts Among Us,” will dive into Humboldt County’s
addiction crisis by investigation how trauma experienced by the county’s children has
translated into oppressive rates of drug dependency.
The hour-long film was produced and directed by local filmmaker Laura Montagna,
whose previous work includes the annual production of TEDX-Humboldt. “Addicts Among Us” will premiere Thursday Oct. 3, at 9 pm on KEET-TV. The program
will air again:
● 7 p.m. on Oct. 6;
● 2 p.m. on Oct.12;
● 8 p.m. on Oct. 22;
● 11 a.m. on Oct. 27; and
● 8 p.m. on Nov. 16.
