I know for a fact that Jeannie Breslin did try on multiple occasions to find out who were the creators of the I Like Eureka stickers.
I am sure her intent was not to cheat or steal but use a great idea to help instill civic pride and a more positive collective self-esteem for Eureka.
A change in font would help satisfy the concerns. I presume that can be done. But it is grossly unfair to demonize her. She meant only good.
And I believe Police Chief Mills wanted to put these bumper stickers on the EPD cars for only positive reasons. When he was hired to be Eureka's police chief he said in a long interview with the Times-Standard that Eureka's worst problem was its citizens deeply negative view of their own city.
Cool idea Sanguine Society. I am a Eureka resident and I like Eureka.
