Workday at McKinleyville Botanical Garden

Come join other volunteers at the beautiful McKinleyville Botanical Garden. Help continue the restoration of this small community-driven garden, featuring pollinator and bird friendly plants. No experience needed; you will be given guidance as to what to do. Learn about native plants; take home cuttings. After volunteers have come at least once, they can work whenever they choose. It’s a great place to be outdoors; listen to the ocean as you create a welcoming environment for bees, birds and people. Go west on Hiller Road to parking lot for Hammond Trail/Soccer Field/Dog Park. Garden is adjacent to children's playground.
