Greening the Grid and Improving Resilience

The Schatz Energy Research Center joins the Blue Lake Rancheria for a discussion of north coast microgrids, with a special focus on the Blue Lake Rancheria project. The BLR microgrid has received energy industry acclaim for its groundbreaking design, as well as recognition from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for contributions to local disaster preparedness. The Center's Founding Director, Peter Lehman, will be joined by BLR's Sustainability Director, Jana Ganion for this free talk in Founders Hall 118.
