Alderpoint Natural History Trip

Redwood Region Audubon Society is sponsoring this trip led by Tony Kurz. Meet at Ray's Food Place in Garberville at 8:30 a.m. to carpool. The trip will include road stops for uncommon breeding birds and spring wildflowers. At Alderpoint, participants will walk south along the railroad tracks on the Eel River, and may continue two miles to the old railroad trestle to search for Rufous-crowned Sparrows. Trip ends around 3 p.m. Please bring a lunch, water, and sunscreen.
